Global Remote Sensing welcomes Darren Billard back

from the year and a half work with the US Army Corps

of Engineers – Portland District

Darrin  Billard, hydrographer, has finished his work with the Army Corps of Engineers – Portland Division in Fall 2007 and returned to the Seattle Office.  In May 2006, the Portland District office requested that GRS provide a hydrographer to temporarily fill a position for one of their staff who was called away for duty in Iraq.  Mr. Billard diligently worked on the USACE Vessel in support of pre-dredge, maintenance, and post-dredge multibeam surveys in and around the Columbia River.  Mr. Billard will continue his work from the Seattle office as a field hydrographer both in regional and international work.
